Many of us grew up believing that happiness derived from sources outside of ourselves. As adults, the media repeatedly barrages us with all kinds of products and messages that promise joy and happiness yet result in frustration and disappointment. Even knowing the right way, sometimes true happiness just seems to be out of reach. Using video, group discussion, music, reflection time and writing, this program offers the opportunity to identify what keeps you from experiencing greater happiness. You will, then, explore more rewarding avenues of attaining happiness, focusing on the power we each have within to create a life that brings joy to us and to the world in which we live.
